THANKS TO THE CHOIRS
Our choirs are now taking a break until fall. We want to thank each and every person who participated in our music program this year. Special thanks need to be given to our directors. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
The theme for this year’s VBS is “HERO Central--Discover Your Strength in God” from Cokesbury. The dates will be July 30 to August 3 from 6 to 8 PM with the program during Church on Sunday, August 6. The kids should be age 3 to students who were in 4th grade the 2016-17 school year.

This year I would like to add a Science Time but need someone to lead it. There is a book with lessons planned so that part is done! I would also like to have Junior High and High School students get more involved. A couple of High School age students could lead Science Time.

Help is needed before VBS by sewing or decorations and during VBS as team leaders for the children. Be sure to sign up if you’re interested in helping. Get involved!!

Also, register children early so we can plan well. You can register by calling the church office at 740-545-6368 or bringing a form to the church. Registration forms will be in the Sunday bulletins or call the church office at 740-545-6368. Or you can click here to open the registration form as a Microsoft Word document.

ORGAN REPAIR PROJECT
The organ is in need of repairs due to age and bat activity from many years ago. Repair to the blower will cost $4,321.00, re-leathering of pipes $7,921.00 and cleaning $2,198.00 for a total of $14,440.00. If cleaning and pipe work are scheduled and done together, it will save $1,267.00. As of today’s date, we have received $3,260.00 with a remaining balance of $11,180.00. So please make this a priority to your thoughtful giving. We appreciate the support for the organ project.

Finance Chairperson
