SERVICES
Window and Lilys
PALM/PASSION SUNDAY
April 9, 10:30 a.m. Worship Service

Sunday, April 9 is Palm and Passion Sunday. We will start our service with the reading of Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem as our children wave their palm branches. The remainder of the service will recount all the events of that week in Jesus’ life as the Gospel of Mark is read. The story begins at Mark 14:1 and ends at Mark 15:47. This will be a very meaningful service.
MAUNDY THURSDAY
April 13, 9:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Our Worship & Music Committee has decided to open our church for prayer on Thursday, April 13 in observance of Maundy Thursday. The church will be open for prayer from 9:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. You are invited to come, sit in the sanctuary and remember the events of the Last Supper, Jesus’ prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, his arrest and his trial. Devotional guides will be available to assist you in prayer.
Those wishing a more formal worship experience are invited to attend Maundy Thursday services at either Plainfield UMC (7:00 p.m.), or Fresno UMC (7:00 p.m.).
GOOD FRIDAY
April 14, 7:00 p.m.

Join us on Good Friday April 14 at 7:00 p.m. as West Lafayette offers a Good Friday worship experience. We will again experience the events of this day in Jesus’ life as we read the Biblical accounts of his crucifixion. The Chancel Choir will be singing as part of this service.
EASTER SUNDAY
April 16, 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. Worship Service

We will have TWO worship services on Easter Sunday morning, April 16. The sunrise service will be held at 8:00 a.m. and our regular service will be held at our usual 10:30 a.m. The sunrise service is a meditative service which includes hymns, scripture and a message. The main service will include hymns, scripture, and a message as well as the singing of the Chancel Choir.
Please note that the message by Rev. Bill will be identical at both services.
The High School Class will hold an Easter Egg Hunt prior to our 10:30 AM worship. Easter candy can be donated to help fill our eggs. Please bring candy to the parlor for the students to fill the eggs. Thank you so much.
